[linux-dvb] help with HD5000 (noobe)

Todd,

Do you have the i2c stuff in your kernel?

In menuconfig you need:

Device Drivers  --->
	I2C support  --->    
		<*> I2C support
		<*>   I2C device interface
		I2C Algorithms  --->
			<*> I2C bit-banging interfaces
		I2C Hardware Bus support  --->
			/* Select the driver for your motherboard hardware */
