I'm trying to add support for the Compro DVB-T 300 Remote and I'm following the Wiki entry. The problem I'm having is I don't understand how to interpret the GPIO=0x part to get the mask_keycode and mask_keyup/down part. I tried using the one from the Compro Videomate Gold with out success. I'm new to this kind of thing so I've been scouring the net trying to find any kind of documentation that explains how to do it but as of yet I've been unsuccessful. A sample of the output in dmesg after enabling ir_debug=1 and pressing some of the buttons on the remote is (mask_keycode=0) Sep 21 10:21:11 mythbox kernel: saa7134[0]/ir: build_key gpio=0x940f00 mask=0x0 data=0 Sep 21 10:21:12 mythbox kernel: saa7134[0]/ir: build_key gpio=0x800200 mask=0x0 data=0 Sep 21 10:21:12 mythbox kernel: saa7134[0]/ir: build_key gpio=0x940200 mask=0x0 data=0 Sep 21 10:21:13 mythbox kernel: saa7134[0]/ir: build_key gpio=0x800700 mask=0x0 data=0 Sep 21 10:21:13 mythbox kernel: saa7134[0]/ir: build_key gpio=0x940700 mask=0x0 data=0 The output from /proc/bus/input/devices is I: Bus=0001 Vendor=185b Product=c900 Version=0001 N: Name="saa7134 IR (Compro Videomate DV" P: Phys=pci-0000:00:09.0/ir0 H: Handlers=kbd event1 B: EV=100003 B: KEY=108c0222 2110801 0 0 0 0 0 190 80006801 e1680 7bb80 0 0 If I evdev /dev/input/event1 it gives me the listing of the buttons but nothing happens when I press the buttons also. This is probably because I haven't got the mask_keycode etc.. set but thought it might be of some assistance. Could anyone shed some light on this. Or point me in the right direction of some documentation :) Kind Regards, Nick
