[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

HI
I have re-compile drivers and modules
http://www.linuxtv.org/downloads/linuxtv-dvb-1.1.1.tar.bz2
and
 bttv (bt878)
http://bytesex.org/bttv/

I excute with root's privileges
modprobe bttv i2c_hw=1 card=0x68
modprobe dvb-bt8xx
modprobe cx24110

and dmesg show me

bttv: driver version 0.9.15 loaded
bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (520 pages) each for
capture
bttv: Bt8xx card found (0).
ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:02:07.0[A] -> GSI 19 (level,
low) -> IRQ 177
bttv0: Bt878 (rev 17) at 0000:02:07.0, irq: 177,

bt878: AUDIO driver version 0.0.0 loaded
bt878: Bt878 AUDIO function found (0).
ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:02:07.1[A] -> GSI 19 (level,
low) -> IRQ 177
bt878(0): Bt878 (rev 17) at 02:07.1, irq: 177,
latency: 64, memory: 0xf7d00000
dvb_bt8xx: Unknown parameter `debug:Turn'
DVB: registering new adapter (bttv0).
xxx attach
DVB: registering frontend 0 (Conexant CX24110 with
CX24108 tuner, aka HM1221/HM1811)...

I think that
now it has to work
right?

even if I declare that my dvb-s pinnacle card is a
Nebula (I think
that Nebula is similar to Pinnacle)
in the output of dmesg I read that the system has
created a subdevice dvb
and it has associated a frontend connexant

Therefore so I can proceed without fears that my
system is going down
(the card is caught fire)
with the scan of the transponder to obtain the channel
list
with szap
http://www.linuxtv.org/downloads/linuxtv-dvb-apps-1.1.0.tar.bz2

Can I ask you your opinion about the output of dmesg ?
Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks a lots

(thank nico)
