I'm glad the problem has been fixed for you... I had a suspicion that you were experiencing a problem due to old mt352 code.  I am CC'ing this to both lists in case there is anybody out there trying to solve your problem... now they will know it has already been resolved.

...glad the scripts work for you.  I guess this means that I did something right.  You are the second person to confirm that the scripts work as intended.  Thank you for telling me ;-)

I've added instructions for temporarily merging the latest frontend code into video4linux cvs using my scripts to the wiki.  Please refer to this in the future, in case the procedure changes at all.
