The first experimental version of the firmware, 0x261e (labeled 0x261d), is the last known firmware that works with Dolby enabled in VDR. I have a feeling there is some kind of race condition in the drivers and it is losing the current state of the firmware somewhere. Perhaps the firmware is syncing faster than the drivers can handle, but it really appears to be a timing issue. I can tune to as many Dolby PIDs as I want, and nothing crashes. But, as soon as I am tuned to a Dolby PID, and open up VDR's OSD, VDR dies almost instantly. Best Regards, C.
