[linux-dvb] [akpm@xxxxxxxx: [linux-dvb-maintainer] Fw: [Bugme-new] [Bug 4370] New: Pinnacle PCI SAT-TV card: cx24110 frontend ioctl32 error]

Does anyone have DVB drivers running on AMD64? Since frontend ioctls
are handled by the dvb-core this report is not specific to the Pinnacle card
or cx24110. The gentoo page says:

  ioctl FE_GET_INFO failed: Invalid argument

  dmesg gives me:
  ---------------
  ioctl32(szap:5793): Unknown cmd fd(3) cmd(80a86f3d){00} arg(0804b960) on /dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0

GNU bash 3.00.16(1)

Problem Description:
A summary and further information can be found here:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78240

changes since then: i'm using vanilla kernel, but same outcome.

Steps to reproduce:
using szap to switch channels and xine to watch sat-tv.

this actually worked with 2.6.9 and earlier. somewhere along the line the
cx24110 frontend ceased working, when it was put back into the kernel, the
problems started.
