[linux-dvb] WinTV Nova-T under FC3 2.6.11

PROBLEM FOUND.

There was a duplication in module dependencies. The same modules appear in
the kernel as well as the pluggable module.
I edited /lib/modules/2.6.11.7/modules.dep while looking at all the
devices installed by the "dl.bytesex" 'make install', I moved all files that
were in the kernel as well as in the module elsewhere, then issued a
'depmod -ae' to clean out the dependencies. They're now all in :
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
The offending duplications were :
/lib/modules/2.6.11.7/kernel/drivers/media
.:
common dvb video

./common:
ir-common.ko

./dvb:
frontends

./dvb/frontends:
cx22702.ko mt352.ko

./video:
btcx-risc.ko bttv.ko cx88 saa7134 tda9887.ko tveeprom.ko
v4l1-compat.ko v4l2-common.ko video-buf.ko

./video/cx88:
cx8800.ko cx8802.ko cx88-blackbird.ko cx88xx.ko

./video/saa7134:
saa7134-empress.ko saa7134.ko
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

now "modprobe cx88-dvb" works (dmesg):

I'll hook up my aerial tonight - am getting no signal level at the moment.

GREAT progress!

Simon
