did you restart the system in between? Because this can happen if the old 
modules which are loaded hold the old values of the symbols. Either rmmod all 
the dvb drivers and then modprobe again, or just restart the machine.

I went the easy route and just used the atrpms cx88/dvb/video4linux packages.
