This seems to be the same card as mine, the linux-dvb stuff doesn't seem
to cater for this card, even 2.6.12-rc2-mm3 kernel which has all the
stuff included wouldn't work, it segfaults loading the cx8802 module.
I'm using 2.6.11.7 +
dl.bytesex.org/cvs-snapshots/video4linux-20050403-221421.tar.gz with
just this in the .config
CONFIG_DVB=y
CONFIG_DVB_CORE=m
After I boot up the kernel, I do "make && make install" in the
video4linux directory with everything in Make.config set to =m. On
reboot, dmesg as follows:-
cx2388x dvb driver version 0.0.4 loaded
cx2388x: snapshot date 2005-04-04
cx88[0]: subsystem: 0070:9002, board: Hauppauge Nova-T DVB-T

cx88[0]: registered IR remote control
ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [APC3] enabled at IRQ 18

DVB: registering new adapter (cx88[0]).
DVB: registering frontend 0 (Hauppauge Nova-T DVB-T)...

I'm using udev on Mandrake 10.1 (I believe FC3 also uses udev), so it
generates the following devices only, making the other devices manually
doesn't make them available:-
/dev/dvb:
total 0
drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 120 Apr 20 14:36 adapter0/

/dev/dvb/adapter0:
total 0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 212, 4 Apr 20 14:36 demux0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 212, 5 Apr 20 14:36 dvr0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 212, 3 Apr 20 14:36 frontend0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 212, 7 Apr 20 14:36 net0

kaffeine is the only app that works, xawtv complains there is no video0,
but sound works. A post a few weeks back on the linuxtv mailing list
said there is no video adapter associated with this card, it sends its
video via the bus to the video card. It works fine on all channels,
kaffeine's scan searches for and finds all channels and allows you to
select which ones you want, you can set recording times etc. I haven't
found a way to make the remote work properly even after applying a patch
with the correct codes to ir-common.c in video4linux.
Another way to make it work with just one channel selected ... I first
used scripts for each one, e.g
tzap -r -c /channels.conf-dvbt-SuttonColdfield "BBC ONE" &
xine stdin://mpeg2 < /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0

You could grab 2.6.11.7 from kernel.org + the cvs-snapshot and give it a
try.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Sid.
