Hello, If you could read german, I suggest http://www.vdr-wiki.de/wiki/index.php/Hauptseite With one connection to a satelite, you could fetch a whole TS (some cards have some limitations, but all I know can at least reccord simultaneously 3 channels on same transponder). If you want to reccord two channels that are not on the same transponder, then you need two coeection to the sat (two LNB).
