Hi

I am just diving into dvb for linux. I am however experiencing aa
annoying problem with my siemens dvb-c card.
I am using a 2.6.11 kernel with dvb compiled in. When booting the
modules get loaded but I get a notification about MAC adres problem.
When I try to scan for channels, it is impossible to tune.

This is the output:
Linux video capture interface: v1.00
saa7146: register extension 'dvb'.
saa7146: found saa7146 @ mem e0802000 (revision 1, irq 5) (0x110a,0x0000).
DVB: registering new adapter (Fujitsu Siemens DVB-C).
adapter failed MAC signature check
encoded MAC from EEPROM was
ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
dvb-ttpci: gpioirq unknown type=0 len=0
dvb-ttpci: info @ card 0: firm f0240009, rtsl b0250018, vid 71010068,
app 8000261c
dvb-ttpci: firmware @ card 0 supports CI link layer interface
dvb-ttpci: DVB-C w/o analog module @ card 0 detected
saa7146_vv: saa7146 (0): registered device video0 [v4l2]
DVB: registering frontend 0 (VLSI VES1820 DVB-C)...
dvb-ttpci: found av7110-0.

Someone knows what is going wrong?

Greets

Peter
