Patching kernel

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Kind of noob question.

I want to build bcache against the current kernel in SLES 11 SP2 (3.0.13). I want to simply patch the current kernel source rather than build whole new kernel or move to a newer kernel version for reasons of paid support on this server.

What would be the method to create a patch against 3.0 kernel tree?

I'd like to get this building in the opensuse build service where I have flashcache and a few other things building.
