available, that you can use with your preferred DAW running on a laptop
or desktop (tower) PC or to control parameters of a real or virtual
synth.

a simple yet solid Server based on Java.
Borce Trajkovski offer the App as no-cost adware, unfortunately there is
no to-pay-for version without the ads. But it works OK for
remote-controlling Guitarix etc.
For remote control guitarix from you android device, you could as well
use the guitarix web-frontend
(best works in firefox fullscreen mode).
