You do know that AMS and Ingen are in their concept very similar, right? They are hosts that connect plugins (LADSPA for AMS and LV2 for Ingen) in a modular way. Outside the format they support, the other difference is the internal modules provided, and that's where ams-lv2 comes in for Ingen...
Ha, you remind me of me a few months ago when I thought "it would be great to have AMS in the LV2 format" :-)
