There are only 3 hosts that I know of that can (or will be able to) combine plugins in a modular way: ams, Ingen and Carla. Ingen and Carla both support LV2, and can be loaded as instrument (at least for Ingen, not sure about Carla), what would linux-native VSTi bring?
