You know what's weird?

Every player I've tried so far (Songbird, Amarok, MPlayer, Aqualung) reads the FLAC file's length incorrectly.

Why is this?

I'm willing to bet this could be part of the reason that all the players I've tried cannot reliable play a FLAC playlist.
