At least it feels much more stable, is quicker to respond and does not introduce any crackles or noise. Thats why I have the impression, that tobydox could be tempted to think: "Well then... let jack be jack - my app runs OK under Linux and I designed it to be a one-stop kind of thing." LMMS SVN has a very well implemented internal version of ZynaddsubFX. I would say, this points in this direction also. Its quite similar to audacity, that runs OK for many years using OSS and ALSA and is quite behind in supporting jack seamlessly. And I also see no reason to be upset because the GUI is being improved while audio-problems remain unsolved - it is free software, released to the community and one of the promises of FOSS is, that others may help, if your project has problems to solve certain issues. Issues that may be beyond your own box of tricks. ;-) Best regs HZN -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkrSIX0ACgkQ1Aecwva1SWOfXQCeJS34H1GvsF7f31nPxZ1oZslA kG4An2A9aiT+AeuQKkbdvAzfkvoptf3/ =ZNnw -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-audio-user
