Hi Ken! OK flac can't handle 32bit, but on the net we agreed that storage space is a limitation. So I think it would be best to operate with the usual 16bit 44.1kHz or 48kHz anyway. At least on the net. What anyone does at home, is their own decision. I wouldn't use .ogg-file for any mixdown or effects-processing. But perhaps we might consider another way of compression. I only ment: It's not important to include windows and MACos in this equasion, because in my book the L in LAU says "LINUX". That was all. :-) Kindest regards Julien -------- Music was my first love and it will be my last (John Miles) ======== FIND MY WEB-PROJECT AT: ======== http://ltsb.sourceforge.net the Linux TextBased Studio guide ======= AND MY PERSONAL PAGES AT: ======= http://www.juliencoder.de _______________________________________________ Linux-audio-user mailing list Linux-audio-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.linuxaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-audio-user
