Hi! We are testing an USB-Audio - FastTrack Pro using Musix GNU/Linux (Debian/ETCH compatible) on a Toshiba Notebook, Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2060 @ 1.60GHz (dual core) Linux Musix 2.6.21 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Apr 27 18:08:33 EEST 2007 i686 GNU/Linux amixer -i -c 0 does not output anything. Also, gamix, gnome-alsamixer, alsamixer, alsamixergui, kmix, etc: nothing. Jackd starts Ok (and with noxruns running at lower latencies) using hw:0, hw:0,1 (or so, I dont remember right now), It can play and record, but the mic input is too loud, and we can not control any souncards's input/outputs from the OS. Is there a software mixer for an USB-Audio - FastTrack Pro?
