Two points:

first of all, just try 24 bits. It makes substantially more difference
than going from 48k->96k.

second, don't bother with this test unless you have some way to do it
double blind. otherwise, you will just join the legion of audio-centric
airheads who rabbit on about what sounds better than what without ever
following the most well-established, widely used, universally accepted
principal of testing.
