Maybe an Edirol UA-1000 or UA-25 and a headphone
amp (as mentioned before).
The Delta44 does have balanced input-outputs. I use it with M-Audio DMP3
mic preamp (which has balanced IO as well) using TRS->XLR adapters and
I'm very satisfied with the quality (well, if I could lay my hands on a
good mic now... ;) )
