Many users distro-hop frequently these days anyway to get support for all their hardware so I thought this would be easier for some than figuring out how to patch two critical packages (PAM and glibc) with TONS of dependencies. And I think it's kind of silly that this problem was solved a year and a half ago and there distros that have yet to get with the program ;-) Lee
