I did install it from source, but couldn't get it to work with lvtk. I
saw a thread about the Raspian version and the github version. At first
I had installed the Archlinux supplied package, then I did try the
github version. The latter does not even contain the required synth.hpp.
Dexed.lv2 did compile with the Arch package, but did not load, due to a
missing symbol. Looking at its symbols and ranges it does look much more
suitable for the commandline experience though.
