Again, the major issue IMO is related to banal physical boarders caused
by the analog domain. The original USB stick doesn't require a PSU, the
16 I/O device needs a PSU. PSU + connectors + casing and anything else
do top the costs of a pro-sumer Focusrite or Presonus device, let alone
a Behringer device. "Meltdown" for a Behringer device is completely
decoupled, from KPTI ;),
$ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/vulnerabilities/meltdown
Mitigation: PTI
Better stay away from Behringer ;).
