Hi Laura, I notice this commit commit c1da80bfb0ce5f213b67e2aeeda885f63eb97d7d mm: Don't use CMA pages for page cache I have a question about this change, Why don't use CMA page for page_cache alloc? These pages are movable , So it can be replaced by other pages if system Need reclaim cma pages , If we don't use cma pages for page_cache page, Cma page will be not used if there is not enough Normal Free memory , but there are lots of cma pages. Will have oom sometimes, especially in page reclaim Call path .
