Hello All, I have two internal modems and I can't get either of them to work. I don't have them installed at the same time. I've installed the martian modem and it doesn't work as I get a errno 5 error when trying to dialout. I don't understand the difference between ltmodem and martian. My goal is to use as a fax modem. I also have an hcfpcimodem. I had it working under 32 bit but since I bought a new comp it no longer works since I'm running 64 bit. The ModemTxt file says it should work but I get an error when trying to install that says wrong architect (amd64 not i386). I've attached both Modem txt files. I may look at buying another modem. Someone said US Robotics external works. Should I stick with serial or could I go USB?
