I ran $ sudo slmodemd -c NEW_ZEALAND --debug=2 --log --alsa hw:0,6.
The output was very big. I have enclosed log file, that appeared in my
home directory - slmodem.log.hw:0,6. I could not open it with gedit,
so I do not know what is there inside.

I always open two windows: one for slmodemd and one for wvdial. So I
am sure that I have not stopped slmodemd during dialing.

Thanks,
Maksym
