Hi Philippe, I will try this modem in a PCI 2.3 system and let everybody know what the result is...(hopefully I have another system which will work) :-) Thank you agin for your assistance! [ BTW, sorry about the return receipt request, I enabled that a long time ago and just start using this Mail.app installation again...(oops!) ] -Chris On Mar 8, 2010, at 12:13 PM, Philippe Vouters wrote: > > Chris, > > I had a look at your motherboard features. I have had issues with HD capture cards in PCI-X slots, which needed similar treatment, and have seen some motherboards that allow you to tweak this even on a per-slot basis. However, I did take a look at the motherboard manual... > > My SuperMicro 5013G-M 1U server contains a SuperMicro P4SGE motherboard. I did notice in the manual that I have a "Resource Controller By" BIOS option which is currently set to "Auto <ESCD>". This appears to be the way to turn PnP on/off on my system. I haven't tried switching to "Manual" yet... > > I will wait to see what others think about the "537EPG" markings that Bjorn asked about. :-) > > Thanks! > -Chris > > > On Mar 7, 2010, at 4:51 PM, Philippe Vouters wrote: > >> >> Dear Chris, >> >> With my ASRock motherboard, the AGP/PCI clock speed is selectable under >> the BIOS.
