Zeke It is good to know that the dual HD audio cards are not presenting any particular problem. On your System: 00:14.2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) 01:05.1 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc RS780 Azalia controller with the 0x11c11040 chip on the SBx00 Azalia RE: could no longer find the modem Modem drivers sometimes die when loaded. For the agrsm drivers case, do unload and load with: $ sudo modprobe -r agrserial $ sudo modprobe agrserial Then dialout again. $ sudo wvdial Rebooting should not in general not be necessary, On some Systems, there may be restarts of other COMM channels. So before redialing again check with: $ ifconfig and shutdown ethernets and wireless if necessary. Their DNS settings will replace those of ppp0 MarvS On Tue, Jan 26, 2010 at 1:43 PM, Ezekiel Krahlin <ezekielk@xxxxxxxx> wrote: > Whaddya know, Marvin, I connected!
