Chris solved my problems w/ receiving faxes and using the socket for
sending. I now have a fully functional fax modem. Thanks for all your
help.
Along this journey I remember a website for reporting the status of
modem operation on Ubuntu/Linux, but I can't find it now. Where should I
record my modem status?
