Please read Modem/DOCs/wvdial.txt But now since you have it installed, this should be no problem. The problem might be that you need to leave slmodemd running on one terminal and then run wvdialconf on another and the modem port should be found. If it is the case that it is not like your post: aditya@aditya-desktop ~ $ sudo slmodemd -c INDIA /dev/slamr0 error: mdm setup: cannot stat `/dev/slamr0': No such file or directory error: cannot setup device `/dev/slamr0 then it could be problem with sl-modem-daemon?
