David, Please send us the entire ModemData.txt hw:0 is the audio card, which can do the wvdialconf test, but lacks the hardware to further dialout hw:1 == modem:1 is usually correct. But also try modem activation with hw:2 as your Modem is on card:2 But without the full ModemData.txt, this guidance might still be wrong.
