Please Help

I have been working on getting my modem to work for about 2 weeks now
On Fedora 11 and have not ask any one for help until now.
I installed slmodem-2.9.11-20090222.tar.gz the first time and could not
Get it to create TTY as `/dev/pts/1' but I did not try slmodemd -c USA
--alsa hw:0
But I did try about all the outer one's like modem:1 .....

I also had to install ungrab-winmodem too

So I uninstalled slmodem-2.9.11-20090222.tar.gz
Then I installed SLMODEMD_gcc4.4_alsa1.0.18 and finely
I got the modem to query. But still cannot get it to connect

HERE is some outputs of the command port also have a output of dmesg too.
I hope this is not too much info but I'm tired of booting back to windows
To read help files on the internet.

Thanks And God Bless!
