get the  agrsm-tools_0.0.1_all.deb   . Install under Linux with:
$ sudo dpkg i a*.deb
Afterwards run:
$ sudo agrsm-test

If the modem is detected, edit in your personal information, with:
$ sudo gedit /etc/wvdial.conf
removing the symbols  ;  < >
Then try a dialout with
$ sudo wvdial
