I'm using Ubuntu 8.10, and I ran scanModem from my home directory and now I have all the files in a "Modem" folder in my home directory. Did I goof? I have a suggested driver and am almost ready to compile it with the make command once I finish reading the text files in the Modem folder. In case I can't find the answer there, where should the compiled version of my modem driver go?
