Try as Root/Admin
# modprobe -r usbserial
# modprobe usbserial   vendor=0x15eb   product=0x0001

Next
# wvdialconf  /etc/wvdial.conf

Report back with results.  If the modem was detected, likely the rest
can be worked out.
