DB,

To install the agrsm-tools.deb on another PC,
you can either copy into the /home/SomeUser folder thereon and install
as before.
Or just specify the PATH to the mounted USB stick like:
$ sudo dpkg -i  /media/USBsomething/agrsm-tools.deb
and the install will go.

As mentioned before, we do not yet have a success with the 11c1:048c chipset
Demo is working on a comparable USB 047e:2892 chipset which in
principle is also supported by the agrsm software.

After each of these attempts, I got an error message: "Error 15: file not found" that offered me a choice of OS to boot into. Each time I selected the "without acpi" option. Then it would return me to the black screen with instruction to "Press any key to continue". I waited many minutes each time but the system never seemed to boot, so I had to use the recovery mode option to boot successfully and then turn off the machine.
