Re: Manuel, Spain Ubuntu 8.10 kernel 2.6.27-9-generic,11c11040 success

Hi Marvin,

I'm having problems with the connection to Internet, both with wvdial and kppp:
the connection starts, everything is allright, but invariably after
some time (between 1, 5
or even 10 minutes) the connection is broken.
In the /var/log/messages (using both wvdial and kppp) the following
line appears (typically
twice):
Kill Request for PID, Faking
In the case of kppp it exits with "Exit status 16".

As the connection is so unstable, it is not good to work with it (I'm
writing this
message connecting with Windows to the same ISP).
Any clue?

Regards,

Manuel
