Hi Roan, 
Can you send me the output of 'dmesg | tail'? this
will tell me what's wrong.
BTW, if it says 'disagrees about version of snd_card'
or some such, try again with 'modprobe agrmodem
--force-modversion' and 'modprobe agrserial'.
