Hi Menedas, Glad to hear it... No worries though, we all make mistakes :) You can try setting up wvdial (by editing /etc/wvdial.conf) to use serial port /dev/ttyAGS3, and then filling in some bum information for ISP phone etc. When you try 'wvdial' without a phone line connected, a resulting 'NO DIALTONE' after a few moment's wait will tell you the modem is working. (If you get 'modem not responding', please forward the output of the 'dmesg' command.) Congrats on finally getting it working.
