Federico, THe low level ALSA drivers such as snd-intel8x0m are likely "innocent". They are just pipelines for the higher level capabilties of slmodemd. Unfortunately the fax supporting code is in a Smartlink encrypted and precompiled component, further compiled into slmodemd. So there is nothing we can further do.
