The ALSA version reported is still 1.0.15 even though I successfully
compiled and installed 1.0.16. Any ideas on why this is?
How do I apply the patch? It seems to be looking in a *-1.0.15 directory
even though I have downloaded 1.0.1.16 sources. I do not know how to
apply patches.
Also I forget what I was doing, or why. I just want my modem to work! So
anyways 1.0.16 compiled and installed but aplay aplay --version still
reports 1.0.15. Yes, I did reboot (twice) and it did not help.
Any help is greatly appreciated...
