Marvin, Thanks for your reply. Yes, after a little searching I found that trick. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me, most probably b/c I have alsa driver not as a module but compiled into kernel -> I can't unload it. So, is it alsa driver issue, not slmodem, right? Oleg
