The source of the problem is that you did install a pre-compiled package
for a x86 kernel on a x86_64 kernel. For a x86_64 kernel, you should
instead install a generic x86_64 package of the driver available at:
http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/full/downloads.php#generic
Please make sure that you have both the gcc and kernel-devel packages
installed on your system before attempting to install a generic package
of the HSF driver on Fedora. They can probably be installed with the
'yum install gcc kernel-devel' command in a root shell.

There is some mismatch between your compiling resources and your kernel.
But it is not transparent to me what it is. GCC and Linux headers seem ok
Hopefully Jonathan will understand.
