the Subsystem probably has a Conexant modem chip
http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/full/downloads.php doesn't have
precompiled drivers for x86_64 systems, so you will have to use the
hsfmodem-7.68.00.10x86_64full-1.x86_64.rpm.zip
and compile your own. Under Linux
unzip hsf*.zip
Start the installation of the hsf*.rpm during which drivers will be
compiled and modem diagnostics run
