Mike, To the best of my knowledge, no one on this List has much expertise with Fax usage on the LT hardware. However if you download from http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/smartlink/ the slmodem-2.9.11-20080417.tar.gz has a section on faxing in the documentation, some of which may be transferable.
