Javidan,

Run the
$ sudo hsfconfig --uninstall
as ATI7 - Motorola HD Audio Speakerphone Modem \ M3
is definitely not a Conexant modem

If all was well:
The /proc/asound/pcm file reports:
-----------------------
00-01: STAC92xx Digital : STAC92xx Digital : playback 1
00-00: STAC92xx Analog : STAC92xx Analog : playback 1 :

would have a line recognizing the modem on your HDA card, like
00-06:  Modem something

Please send me the ALSAroot.tgz though I doubt it will have usefull
additional info.

Following the Softmodem.txt guidance, please get into the modem
Details, and copy the Device and Vendor spec details to us. Some
possiblity it is a new motorola chip

Is your Audio working?

MarvS
