Sorry guys, Hugo's agrsm trouble shooting is very constructive and
easy to understand, but it didn't work.
Same errors I had before appear when sound is disabled in BIOS.
I tried "pci=noacpi" again, this time with this new driver
"agrsm-20070804.tar.gz", but now it wouldn't even boot, it says
"kernel panic" or something like that (wierd). So, I had to edit ("e")
boot parameters, deleted "pci=noacpi", and Ubuntu started normally.
Anyway, I know when to quit, don't want to bug you any more, obviously
it won't work with my hardware configuration.
