Gokul,

The compile is OK on my System, see below.
For debian 2.6.18-4-686 etch, in addition to the linux-headers, the
package kernel-kbuild-2.6.18 (or similar name) must be installed. You
can search it out with packages search engine at www.debian.org
 Report back if there is still a problem afterward.
