Hello, Thank you Marvin, Jacques, Antonio. I followed all instruction without any result. Still getting the same kind of logs. I tried a 3rd ISP (tiscali.it), same results. I tested all 3 ISP on Win and the connection details are OK. The only thing I found is the attached script on the Tiscali website, but I have no idea of what to do with that. The only instruction is to fill it with own details, make it executable with chmod 755 and then use it to connect. Your ISP? might be http://www.eutelia.it/tlc/ There are instructions for linux http://www.eutelia.it/tlc/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=119&Itemid=83&lang=it He needs the following: * il numero di telefono per raggiungere il server PPP, 702 1010 777 * gli IP Address dei DNS: 62.94.0.1 (primario) 62.94.0.2 (secondario) * assicurarsi di essere loggati come root. The number to dial is this one 7021010777 Add to /etc/resolv.conf the following lines: nameserver 62.94.0.1 nameserver 62.94.0.2 Then everything should work hopefully :). Alessandro please report back success/failure what is working/what is not working. This should help get you online.
